Last night was Halloween.
Little Fink, Mr Fink and I were all going to be out for the evening. How could we avoid giving away that the house was empty?
Brainwave. I put a Plague Sign on the front door, hung sweets from the haribo tree in the front yard and placed Ed the Skelly in the kitchen window with a torch lighting his beautiful skull.
I heard a couple of parents read the sign to their little witches and devils then saw the branches of the tree shake as the youngsters grabbed some sweets.
Sorted.
