Welcome to Mouse
This is Mouse, he came to live with us from the RSPCA on 6th September. His mum, Nari, will hopefully be joining us this week after she has been spayed.
We've never had such a small kitten before, just 7 weeks old when he came to us, he cried a little on the first couple of nights and was understandably shy but now....oh boy....now he's a white ball of fluffy dynamite.
He steals underwear off the airer, runs up the full length curtains in the dining room, during dinner he base jumps from lap to lap causing staccato gaps in the conversation and pained expressions on the diners faces. He charges round the top of the sofa at a hundred miles an hour, like a little furry bullet train. Then after half an hour of madness, he sits on my chest, curls up in the crook of my arm and purrs. Throbs of liquid contentment pour out of him and then he sleeps. Twitching eyebrow whiskers and dabbing paws allude to the wonderful chase dreams he's having.
I can't wait for Nari to join the fun. Our house has been strangely quiet over the summer, now we have a cat again, it seems complete.
