What's that noise?

Last week, my workplace upgraded it's MS Office suite to 2007. (Finger on the pulse eh? that's the NHS for you. x love it really x)
Now, 75% of my job involves a huge spreadsheet which contains lots of complex calculations which basically runs our department. It was designed by a clever chap, on Excel 2007. For ages I've been using it on 2003 at work and it barely stands up. So i consider myself to be the person in the department who can make the MOST use of Office 2007.
So joy of joys when I heard we were getting the update. All week I left my PC on to receive the overnight remote update, every morning another batch of my colleagues awoke to the joys of 2007's ribbon. I however did not.
I contacted our 'help'desk (no pun intended) who advised me the operating system I was running (2000) was not  compatible with Office 2007.
Sooooooo I mooched around, found a little used computer that had been updated, swapped it with mine and hit the ground running (there was a lengthy email chain between the helpdesk and I regarding asset numbers/locations, qualifications required for plugging in network cables etc but I won't bore you with those).

Anyway, I can now do the job for which I'm paid in the manner in which it should be done. But, what's that clicking noise? It was coming from the fan at the back of the computer. I looked, an enormous spider had crawled into the fan vent - and died. The fan was hitting it's carapace and making the noise.
I unplugged everything, got out my tweezers and leg by brittle leg, picked the dead spider out of my 'new' computer. Plugged it all back together - Presto!

My boss arrives, notices mayhem and cables everywhere, "Computer problems? What was wrong with it?" he asks. Quick as a flash, I respond, "It had a bug in it."
If you are scared of spiders, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN.
