Avianophobia

This morning my colleague chased Theresa the Duck away from nesting in the shrubbery at the entrance of the hospital. about 20 minutes later, Theresa was on the roof of the hospital with her mate, eyeing up the pigeon netting as a nesting site.
I headed up the stairs, 2 flights (no pun intended), tried to open the window to shoo them away but for health and safety reasons, the windows only open 2 inches.
So I grabbed a piece of paper and pushed my hand through the gap and shoo'd them off that way.
What I didn't realise was I had been 'performing' for the patients queueing up to collect their prescriptions from the hospital pharmacy. Many a wry smile as I slunk off, muttering, murmur murmur, bloody ducks, murmur murmur.
It's going to be a race between the laying of the eggs and the men in white coats. Ha ha he he
