The pigeon netting outside my office at the hospital was replaced last week. It is supposed to stop the pigeons roosting and fouling the enclosed quadrangle (previous home of Theresa The Duck). Unfortunately, this pigeon hid while the guys put up the netting and now he is trapped.
We've decided to call him Dean for no particular reason. The RSPCA have been and said they can't catch him as the 'ceiling' of netting is about 30 feet high and he just flies off. They suggested RENTOKIL!!! The RSPCA suggested Rentokil!
Anywho, I've started to feed him, I've ordered a humane pigeon trap off Ebay (the cheapest one in UK was £30 so I have one coming from the US).
Can Dean hang on until the trap arrives? Stay tuned to find out.
I've started my get fit campaign, I'm hoping to go to Australia in 2012 and need to loose weight so I'm not a big, fat, uncomfortable lump on the plane and the beach. I'm swimming (30 lengths in 30 mins so far) 5 times a week and watching what and how much i eat. First week 6lb lost, only got another 5 stones to go.
