The view from Haverigg, up the river Lazy with Black Combe in the background.Ched and Doris went home on Monday and Nanny, Little Fink and I spent the rest of the time playing in the sand, metal detecting and generally relaxing. We also visited Dalton Zoo (South Lakes Wildlife Park), the gibbons and spider monkeys are so cool. We fed giraffes, penguins and lemurs.
All in all we had a lovely time and are fully relaxed and recuperated. We were so relaxed on Monday when we went back to school and work that I forgot to give Little Fink her lunch, PE kit and plimsolls!! Oops.
