I work with and for consultants at the hospital. I am the head consultant's Pa. I know my place. A few weeks ago a consultant asked me to fill in his expenses and travel claims from June to present day - working out his journey to and from 4 hospitals every day for 4 months. I said I was very busy and would try.
I have been very busy and didn't get it done. I even brought it home to do in the evenings, when I thought, hang on, this is above and beyond the call of duty.
Before I got chance to tell the consultant I would not be able to complete his expenses, he phoned today. He asked me to get the expenses in quick as if they are left too long, he can't claim them!!! What the crocodile hat is that all about?
