Is it too much to ask? For someone in a public service role to surprise me and give good service?
Yesterday I booked my yearly flu jab at my local surgery. Today an email came out at work, all employees at the hospital are being offered a flu jab.
I booked my appointment with the flu jab department and then phoned the surgery to cancel my appointment with them.
Me - "I'd like to cancel an appointment I've got on Monday"
Receptionist, "Who's it with?"
Me, "I'm not sure but I guess the nurse as it is for a flu jab."
Receptionist, "I cant find it on here."
Me, "It was for 3.30pm on Monday."
Receptionist, "Well the nurse doesn't work in the afternoons, perhaps it was for the flu clinic?"
Me, "YOU DON'T THINK?"
Honestly, I ask you?
