Missing - Sat 28 December 2013

Every morning for the last 2 months, I've woken up, looked across to the bedroom radiator and there, fast asleep and curled up on the sheepskin radiator bed has been Mouse. So soft, so beautiful. Saturday morning I woke up and Mouse wasn't in his bed, he wasn't snuggled up with Nelly or in his quiet place behind the sofa. he was nowhere in the house.
Mr Fink and I had left him curled up on a bean bag in the living room at 1am and gone to bed. Sometime after that, he had some food and left via the cat flap. We've not seen him since.

He feels the cold. He likes to snuggle up, skin to fur, when he gets cold. He likes to sit on my feet and use them as a hot water bottle. He's so little and young and naive. It's so cold outside.

I posted this blog at 3.15am. At 3.40am the catflap opened in in walked Mouse. I picked him up, he is in perfect condition, not even that hungry. I woke up Mr fink and Nelly and told them the great news. We're sitting here now, drinking tea, wondering where the heck he's been. Oh and I've locked the catflap until my nerves stop jangling and my eyes stop being red from crying. xxx
