It's a Beautiful Day

What a wonderful day. My Aunty and Uncle are down from Cumbria so today with the sun shining we, Nelly, Mr Fink, Nanny, Aunty & Uncle, the dog and Shouty Grandad went for a womble down the canal. I took the crayfish nets with me as I'd heard the canal was over run with them.
We walked toward a popular canalside pub, the colours of the trees and countryside were amazing. (A friend of mine used the word, 'verdant' and i couldn't agree more.)
Nelly and I managed to encourage Nanny to traverse a lock via the lock gates then we moved them so she was stranded above the canal! (All in good fun of course.)
We didn't catch (or see) any crayfish at all but we did go for a superb pub lunch.

A wonderful day with fantastic family - good times!
