This morning I realised I had 2 days to do 5 days work in. Monday and Friday are days off and Thursday I am out on a course. So today I knuckled down and hit the paperwork. I was working on some complex figures when a colleague approached the photocopier outside my office. she started talking to it and muttering to herself that it wasn't working AGAIN, tutting and slamming the trays in and out. It was very distracting, so in the end, I pushed my office door closed. I hardly ever have the door closed so it signifies that I am quite busy. so, did I get peace and quiet? What I did get was people pushing the door open and saying, "I know your busy because you've got the door shut, but could you just...."
