Remember a couple of days ago? Little Fink was told by her teacher that she was not allowed to wear studded football boots to play lacrosse or rugby on the muddy field?Well, I had my meeting with the teacher on Friday, I was all fired up, I had done my research, checked the school policies and was ready for an intense 'discussion'.
The teacher invited me in, sat me down and completely disarmed me! she agreed it was a good idea for Little Fink to wear the boots from a safety point of view, but would have to leave the final decision to the lacrosse teacher as it was his call as to whether he is prepared to shoulder the 'risk' of Little Fink injuring someone with the boots. Makes sense I suppose - in this litigious world we seem to live in. Further installment to follow.
