I treated myself to a Venus Fly Trap plant at the weekend, something to keep me occupied while Little Fink is away.It didn't seem to attract flies on it's own and it looked a bit sad when I got it back from the shop so I wondered if it would accept other forms of protein?
I looked around the kitchen and saw the cat food. I chopped up really tiny portions of it and put it in the leaves, the leaves closed and we shall see if I have created Audrey 3 (Little Shop of Horrors reference) or if I have killed the little plant!
Marsha came over, looked at the plant and said,
"Please may I have a look at your Venus Try Flap?"
It could have been worse I suppose!
