OK, I'm boasting, but who wouldn't. We've just come back from Little Fink's Scout Group AGM where the annual presentations were made.
Little Fink won the award for Best Cub and if that were not enough, she was awarded a shield for being the best overall member of the Scout Group (out of 200 young people!) for joining in, helping people and putting others before herself.
I was so proud, I had a tear in my eye. She is a wonderful little girl and I told her how proud I was of her. We usually play down her achievements and don't crow about what she wins and earns, but today I am crowing and pleased to know such a pleasant and joyful young lady. (end of boasting!)
