What is wrong with this picture?
This weeks school newsletter reads...
"We have been advised by Paramedics that water bottles when refilled are the second highest cause of food poisoning and therefore we do not want them brought into school. For your information the No1 cause of food poisoning is from a tomato ketchup bottle which has not been kept in the fridge or has been kept too long."
Ignore the dreadful punctuation and terrible grammar and then tell me what is wrong with this paragraph?
(to be updated when I have calmed down!)
UPDATE - Shurely shome mishtake? what about chicken, seafood and unwashed hands?
I hate it when people, and even worse, organisations, pass on here say as fact. It allows uneducated people who cant think for themselves to perpetuate the lie ad infinitum. Grr. why don't people question orders like these rather than just take them as gospel? I've looked all over the Internet and cant find and league tables of the most common causes of food poisoning. I can find the most common bacteria but not the instances. I'd like to meet this 'PARAMEDIC' and find out where he/she gets their information from.
