Bill Bailey at Wembley

On Thursday, Mr Fink and I went to Wembley Arena to see Bill Bailey live. I really enjoyed it, laughed loads and had great fun spotting the weirdos (A disproportionate amount to be in one place at one time). Especially the huge young man, dressed in jeans, big blue t shirt and red bandana, reading the program, chuckling away to himself in the interval. He looked like a massive, happy pirate - oh I wish I had had the bottle to take a photo of him.

The only downside (you knew it was coming) was that the stage was at 90 degrees to the right of the way we were facing. So during the interval, 1200 people facing left all during the interval to realign their upper vertibra!

I won't spoil it for you but my favourite part was Bill describing the joys of owning a guinea pig.

"They are so sweet when you pick them up, they shiver and shake and look like they are saying - please don't eat me, please don't eat me. Then you put them down they are still shaking but look like they are saying, Thank you for not eating me thank you.

I suppose wearing the eagle suit at feeding time time doesn't help!"

The DVD was being filmed the night we were there so listen out for my terrible but totally genuine cackle of laughter ALL the way through!
